Some famous authors express themselves and respond to their books being banned. The list is quite impressive: Kurt Vonnegut (one of my personal favorite authors), Mark Twain (another), J.D. Salinger, Steinbeck, and Harper Lee. Vonnegut< Twain, and Lee are actually quoted in this article with their responses.
