Polar Conditions Over Much of North America Continues

Yes, it is still cold. Not quite as cold as it was yesterday, but it is still cold nonetheless.

What's weird about the weather recently, is the hot and cold flashes, if you will, that we seem to get. They are such extremes!

Consider that we here in northern New Jersey were in the single digits (in Fahrenheit) late last week, with colder temperatures than we had seen in years.

But by Monday, it was in the forties, and mild. At least for a while.

Then, it dropped back down dramatically, going right back to single digits, and with ridiculously cold wind chill factors. We are beginning to emerge out of that, though, and by this weekend, we are supposed to have warm temperatures in fifties (again, Fahrenheit).

So strange! Such radical extremes!

And maybe you were wondering why I was posting about global warming, while experiencing colder weather than I have experienced in years?
