Things Are Different in Canada

No, I am not a Canadian. But i wish I was. Boy, if I could have ended up living there, it would have been great! Whenever I go there (and it tends to be often), I love it. Impressed by the clean streets, by the beautiful parks that put the ones south of the border to shame. Love the cultural diversity that most Americans seem to miss about Canada. Miss the official bilingualism. Miss the natural beauty. The more laid back, down-to earth feel of the place just makes me feel...well, more at home than America feels, often times. That's true of both English and French Canada.

So, I think I have the right to post this. Canadian jokes in America do not have the nasty undertones of, say, Polish jokes or French jokes. They are not viewed in as negative a light as Arabs or Muslims tend to be (and not, they are not necessarily the same thing.
