Immigration Math

She's obviously British, but what she is saying is relevant beyond just Great Britain. People who point fingers and scapegoat the weakest among us will always find people to do it to, and reasons for doing it, even if the facts contradict everything that they are saying.

More often than not, people who are anti-immigration are just bigoted, whether or not they admit to it. They don't like certain people, and feel that the world, or at least their corner of it, should be populated exclusively with people just like them.

Of course, such a world is impossible, and would never work in real life.  And there is a reason why immigration has taken off, and it is not just because it allows people from other lands to come to our soil and strike it rich. No, in fact, this arrangement is mutually beneficial, as this woman on this video will illustrate.

She repeats "God damn" quite a bit, but she makes some very solid points, and maybe, she will even frame the immigration debate in a way that many, if not most, never really thought of before.
