Quebec Hospital Permits Use of Pot in Rooms

I have mentioned my belief that, ultimately, the legalization of marijuana is a historical inevitability.

Sure, there is opposition. Isn't there always? Some people still feel that a return to strict legal segregation would be a good idea. Some people think that a return to prohibition of alcohol would be a good idea.

But the fact of the matter is that most of us have progressed to a point where we understand that these things did not work, and were inherently unfair.

So, too, the present prohibition of marijuana, which has been illegalized for no real good reasons that many people can see. It is even less harmful than alcohol, and less addictive, too. Plus, in terms of the other things that it is good for, such as the environment, for better quality paper and clothes, and medicinal uses, among many other things, it just seems like a no-brainer that it will, inevitably, be legalized across the board, pretty much in most (if not all) nations.

When stories like this arise, it just seems one further sign that marijuana is on it's way to enjoying legal status, something that, quite frankly, it should never have lost in the first place!
