Reggie Miller Argues That Skinnier Players Will Be Better Off In Long Run

There has been a recent trend towards basketball athletes trimming down and getting skinnier in order to have more staying power as they get on in years with their NBA careers on the line.

Lebron James shed some pounds for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Carmelo Anthony shed some pounds for the New York Knicks.

Their physique might not look quite as good for some people, but Reggie Miller, an ex-basketball player who knows a little something about being skinny, says that the lesser weight should help these athletes to stay healthy more often as they get older, and should be beneficial to their careers.
