In light of the report on CIA techniques that just made big news, a lot of people began taking a more critical look at the whole process of rethinking and trying to redefine torture that the previous administration went to such lengths with. There is little to no evidence that these methods make the country safer, let alone a better or more free place.
Yet, Dick Cheney continues to try to win hearts and minds with that lovable, cuddly personality of his by saying immediately that he would do it all over again in a minute if given the chance. This, despite being informed that nearly a quarter of all of the cases of the use of these highly questionable methods were implemented on innocent people.
Surprised?
You probably should not be.
