Frozen Experiments

Okay, well, it is obviously winter time here in the northeast right now.

Temperatures have been very cold, and everything feels so frigid. The highs later today are only supposed to reach freezing, yet this will be a big warming from what we had in the last few days! The other day, I took a deep breath, and it was so cold, that it actually kind of hurt, with a slight burning feel to it! You hardly want to go out and do anything at all.

Still, that does not mean that we have to systematically stay inside and have cabin fever, right?

Here are a couple of science articles that present some cool ideas on experiments that we can all try at home right now, in these frigid conditions.
