Just wanted to let you know that there is another article of mine that was just published (five minutes ago as I write and publish this blog entry about it, actually).
This one is about the global obesity dilemma, as rates of obesity have increased all over the world. Furthermore, this problem is expected to get worse, not better, in the decades to come.
It's a serious problem, and one that I wanted to explore after hearing a story about diabetes rates having spiked in China and India specifically, of all countries. It used to be that those were considered poor countries filled with starving people. Now, those countries have McDonald's and other western cuisine readily available and popular.
Not surprisingly, obesity and diabetes rates in both countries rose sharply.
