It seems that new Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is really trying to be visible during his first week in office.

He announced a new cabinet that ranks as the most diverse in Canadian history, strongly defended that same cabinet when a reporter mocked the notion of them taking public transportation to work, and now, he is pushing forward a proposal to make college education more affordable, and ease the burden of student debt on those making under a certain amount per year.

Trudeau has some really cool, progressive ideas that I hope an American elected to office someday might try to advance.

Dare to dream!

At least for now, I can admire more enlightened attitudes from afar by our neighbors up north.
