Yes, today, the second Monday of October, is Thanksgiving Day in Canada.
It might seem strange for many Americans used to celebrating much later in the year, although remember that, in Canada, the harvest comes considerably earlier than it does here in much of the United States.
Despite having just been to Canada a little over one week ago, I had actually forgotten about the Canadian Thanksgiving holiday until just today.
Still, I wanted to take the opportunity to wish our Canadian friends a very Happy Thanksgiving!
