Tom Hanks Says No to Trump

President Trump was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and lived a gilded life of privilege and entitlements. He is not used to not getting his way, which is perhaps why he has embarrassing, childish temper tantrums every time that he does not get his way. That is why everyone, apparently including the White House itself, seems to hate his tweets.

Recently, Trump asked noted actor Tom Hanks to host a private screening of his new film, 'The Post," which is about journalists actually doing their job and reporting, at great risk to themselves, about the criminal actions of a President and his White House staff.

Hanks rejected Trump, and explained why:

“I don’t think I would. Because I think that at some point – look, I didn’t think things were going to be this way last November. I would not have been able to imagine that we would be living in a country where neo-Nazis are doing torchlight parades in Charlottesville and jokes about Pocahontas are being made in front of the Navajo code talkers. And individually we have to decide when we take to the ramparts.”

I think Mr. Hanks really nailed it. Take a look at the full story by clicking on the link below:

  1. I wonder if Trump will respond with his trademark verbal diarrhea – something to the effect of "Tom Hanks, that no-talent LOSER and HAS-BEEN, has shown his true colors by declining my gracious invitation, which would have saved his FAILING career. So sad!"

  3. I will say that this was a good imitation of a Trump tweet. Perhaps that might be a new career path for you, moving forward. Did you think of sending your resume and portfolio to the White House, so you can proudly join the team?

  4. Somehow I don't think Stephen Colbert, Bill Maher, Conan O'Brien, Seth Meyers, Jimmy Kimmel or the cast members of SNL have much to worry about...
