Place d'Italie in Paris

For the last stretch of days in Paris, I stayed at a hotel located quite near to the Place d'Italia.

Prior to this trip,I really only knew it as a fairly prominent station in the Paris Metro. 

This gave me a chance to actually explore the area a little bit.
