The recent suggestion by House Speaker Mike Johnson that Donald Trump was a paid informant for the FBI, and this infiltrating the Epstein group, which Trump himself has repeatedly referred to as a "hoax," was so absurd as to be comical.
Except, of course, that this is real. He really said it, in apparent hopes of convincing Americans that Trump is innocent, and has nothing to hide regarding this whole Epstein scandal. Who knows, it might actually work with millions of Americans. After all, MAGA has earned a reputation for gullibility regarding absurd beliefs, especially when it comes to King Con Don.
However, most of us still can recognize obvious bullshit when someone tries to feed it to us. And when someone like Johnson says something utterly clueless and unhinged, it perhaps should be met with the mockery which it richly deserves.
To that end, it seemed fitting to publish some humorous social media posts which did exactly that. Below are two recent Facebook posts (see links below) which clearly took solid aim that that absurd claim by Johnson, and the conspiracy theorists who will surely swallow it up whole.
