Here's President Ronald Reagan's Original Radio Address Discussing Tariffs (April 25, 1987)

President Trump once again is looking absolutely crazy and unwell. Unfit for the office of the presidency which, frankly, he was never fit to hold to begin with.

Trump shut down all trade negotiations with Canada after claiming that a speech by the late President Ronald Reagan blasting tariffs was "fake."

I wanted to share the video from the Reagan Library itself, because the date when it was posted should be noted. It was posted eight years ago. Seems funny that this institution, which specializes in Ronald Reagan's presidency, would have posted this video. Or if it is somehow fake, that they somehow would not have discovered this in eight years, a span that goes back to the relatively early part of Trump's first term.

Once again, Trump is revealing himself not only to be unfit for office, but to be deeply unstable and lying transparently.

How much do you want to bet that MAGA will once again, very predictably, at best shrug this away or sweep this under the rug or, at worst, outright grow militant against Canada and (at least claim to) believe these latest Trump "fake news" claims?

I wonder if this is not yet another ploy to grow anti-Canadian sentiment here in the United States, perhaps even to pave the way for further friction and escalation of the already tense situation between the two countries.

Would that even be surprising?

What a small, sad, pathetic, paranoid little man Trump is.

This country looks and feels smaller every single day that it remains in the shadow of this ridiculous man and his cult following.
