Yes, here are some more pictures from our initial morning visit yesterday in rain drenched Londontown.
There are also some pictures from the second day of our visit, which clearly shows very different weather conditions from the first day.
It has been such a hot and almost dry summer, that so much time walking around in the cool rain felt frankly a bit strange.

One of the main places in London that I wanted to visit was Trafalgar Square. Having seen the pictures, a visit there felt like a must.
Yet, it seemed like we kept having to put it off. Also, it was not particularly easy to find. We always seemed like we were on the wrong subway line.
We did get there, however.
Indeed, it was worth the wait.
Originally, based on the images that I had seen of it, my impression was that it likely was London's answer to the Place de la Concorde.
In fact, it is quite different. It is beautiful, yet also historic . And it is an absolute hub of activity.
The National Gallery is here, but there are also a ton of restaurants and souvenir shops. Also, it had an international feel, with buildings relating to Malaysia and Canada present.
My son and I decided to take in a meal at a sidewalk cafe. We had pizza, which my son said was the best pizza that he ever had. And we enjoyed the meal in perfect weather, and in the shadow of Trafalgar Square.
Not too shabby.
