"No Kings" Protest For Late March 2026 Becomes Largest Single Day of Protest in American History

Somewhere, I heard that this latest "No Kings" protest was the biggest day of protest in American history. Evidently, over eight million people showed up to some 3,300 protests across the United States. It was described as the most significant one-day protest in American history.

Only, it was not just in the United States that they protested against King Con Don. They also did so in Italy, France, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, and Australia. Hell, they even had a small gathering on an island in Antarctica.

One sign that I saw a picture of (forgot to get the picture for this blog, sorry) said:

Ikea has smarter cabinets.

I like that.

Bruce Springsteen was at the Minnesota "No Kings" protest. There are pictures of huge crowds in many American cities, including but not limited to New York, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Washington, Chicago, and San Francisco. Nor was it relegate to just the big cities. Indeed, there were over 3,000 protests spread across all 50 states. Even some foreign countries had "No Kings" rallies.

We need some activism these days. We need to be reminded that we are not alone in opposing all that Trump and MAGA stand for, and what they are doing. How they are actively trying their best to destroy what remains of American democracy. How they have made the United States a worldwide symbol of oppression and de facto modern-day imperialism, such as with this war with Iran.

Personally, while I could not participate in the protests, I applaud and support those who did take part.

This is a reminder that while what is happening sometimes makes this country feel unrecognizable, there nonetheless are some good and, yes, patriotic citizens here. Many of them are willing to make a stand, literally, against this fascist Trump regime. These protests are like a breath of fresh air. Or maybe, they are more than that. They are like a bright and warm ray of sunshine breaking through after a long, dark spell of cold and miserable weather, a fitting image for this spring season.

And as I have done with the two other "No Kings" protests, it seemed fitting to devote at least a blog entry covering it, along with some pictures.

Enjoy.

My personal favorite picture from this latest batch of pics from all of the "No Kings" protests across the country and even the globe:
