Numerous Members of the New England Patriots Refuse to Visit President Trump at White House

It has not even been a week since the New England Patriots staged that incredible comeback to win the Super Bowl. They celebrated on Tuesday in front of their fans in Boston with a parade, despite some bad weather.

But now, some members of the Patriots are refusing to celebrate with an official visit to the White House, despite the noted links to Donald Trump by arguably the three most iconic members of the team - Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, and owner Robert Kraft.

However, it sure seems that this kind of tacit support and/or acceptance is most certainly not unanimous among the new Super Bowl champions. Ever since their historic and thrilling victory, one Patriots player after another has decided to publicly announce their intentions to skip the traditional White House visit.

These include, but are not necessarily restricted to tight end Martellus Bennett, free safety Devin McCourty, linebacker Dont’a Hightower, running back LeGarrette Blount, defensive end Chris Long (he's the son of former Raiders star and now FOX NFL pundit Howie Long), and defensive tackle Alan Branch.

Apparently others are mulling it over, and have not quite come to a decision yet. These include running back James White, who had an amazing game last Sundaythat essentially propelled him to star status himself. He is still undecided, and will determine what to do later.

So, apparently that seemingly unanimous support for Trump from the "evil" New England Patriots is not so unanimous, after all!
