This is weird timing. After taking a small break from politics, because frankly, the American political scene right now is incredibly depressing, I decided to start doing something a little bit different yesterday, by actually focusing on some politicians who have a more promising and hopefully message that feels a bit more like the spirit of where this country should be heading. The first one was Bernie Sanders, although already, I am interrupting it before even reaching the second politician on that list.
Why?
Because yesterday was a huge day for one of my favorite bands - Pearl Jam. Yes, they were inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame, as well as some other great acts, including Yes, Joan Baez, and Tupac Shakur. So, it was time to write about that.
However, before I get to that, it seemed appropriate to put this blog out there, because this was quite amusing, and also because I actually have been wondering what Jello Biafra's reaction would be to all of the nonsense that is going on right now in Washington in general, and with Donald Trump in particular.
And while this clearly is a spoof article, it kind of does show the wordy, punk spirit of one of the most political figures in punk history.
