Last night, there was an astronomical event.
Or, well, at least it was an event in terms of how we down here saw something up in the night sky.
The moon looked particularly incredible. It was a phenomenon called the "Strawberry Moon," which I do not remember having heard much about before recent days.
As it turns out, I had almost forgotten about it after an unusually busy overnight shift. But when I went outside to get some cool, refreshing early morning air, the moon looked truly spectacular.
I asked a coworker to go out and take some photos, and to share them with me. He did not mind, and these were the pictures which he sent me.
They really came out great, so far as I am concerned. But take a look for yourselves, and see what you think.
