Scientists Discover Black Hole 12 Billion X's Bigger Than the Sun

This really is not that new of a story anymore, and probably should have gotten a blog entry much earlier, truth be told.

However, I wanted this to coincide with my review on The Theory of Everything, which also has some other stuff on Stephen Hawking in general. Also, there was another blog entry about common space myths that many believe, but which need to be scrapped.

In any case, here it is: an entry on a fascinating recent find of a black hole that is estimated to be 12 billion times more massive than the Sun!

That's pretty hard to believe and conceive, but it really is fascinating to contemplate.

A black hole 12 billion times more massive than our Sun has been detected It’s so big, we need new physics to explain it. FIONA MACDONALD   26 FEB 2015
