More Health Benefits of Marijuana?

So, yes, I know that I have been doing a lot of blog entries on marijuana. Specifically, I have been doing a lot of entries on just how ridiculous I believe the prohibition of marijuana is, particularly as new facts come to light that suggest that, far from the evil that many people viewed this drug as, and the skepticism that was popularly held towards it, we in fact are funding out that this appears to be closer to being a wonder drug.

Evidence suggests that legalizing would likely lessen the detrimental impact on the war on drugs, end much of the hypocrisy of unfair prison sentences and legal records, be beneficial to governments; on the national and more local levels; that it could be very beneficial to human health, with the possibility (being explored by science presently) that it may help cure cancer, and certainly provides comfort for those in pain; that it would be better for the environment, etc., etc..

Indeed, the benefits are many, it seems. The facts would appear to bear this out, and so the tide is swinging in favor of outright legalization.

So strong is this current of favoring legalization, that the ill will and the old con arguments are being discredited with such a degree of regularity, that it makes you wonder how much longer they can stand up. When the very foundation of the reasoning behind the prohibition starts cracking, it really is just a matter of time.

The evidence just keeps mounting in favor of the pros of cannabis.

So, here are yet a couple more articles that would seem to contradict all the bad things that we have heard about marijuana in the recent past. More and more, the tides have turned, and legalization seems more and more inevitable. Since it should never have been prohibited in the first place (how can you illegalize nature, anyway?), I just want to do my small part in hurrying this process up, and getting it legal again. I'm not myself a pothead, but you simply cannot deny the mountain of evidence that suggests we had no business illegalizing it in the first place.

Here is another article about the apparently positive effects that it can have for us: an article that finds that marijuana might help cure cancer:

Here is an article published by CNN that suggests, as the title outright declares, that marijuana is, in fact, safer than alcohol:

"Marijuana is safer than alcohol" by Dan Riffle, Special to CNN updated 6:43 AM EDT, Thu October 24, 2013:
