Why Chris Christie's Dallas Box Seats Matter

This man is clearly pining for not just any national office, but for the highest office in the land. He wants to be President of the United States.

So, why does it matter, other than to petty New Jersey fans of the Jets and especially the Giants and Eagles, both divisional rivals to the Dallas Cowboys?

Here is why:

Yet another crooked politician who is sending the message officially that he is going to get tough on corruption, inefficiency and reckless and wasteful government spending, then quietly makes an exception for himself and his friends, of course.

The message being, of course, that the rulers, our overlords, will always live the grand life, and furthermore, are entitled to it. Since they control the law, they control the exceptions to the law. Not surprisingly, they and their friends seem to always be the most glaring examples of exceptionalism. All of this in the country that considers itself exceptional for not allowing the exceptionalism that rulers believed in and practiced in times past in not so distant lands.

It smacks of a new feudal order, on so many levels. Especially since Emperor Christie obviously feels entitled to become the nation's president, yet feels completely exempt when it comes to matters like this (or possibly Bridgegate, although that has not been proven yet).

Here is a link to a video on the story by the Young Turks which I highly recommend, with specifics on why this, particularly, was so outrageous (aside from Christie taking what sure seems like a gift from a man with business interests in the Port Authority, which would constitute a conflict of interest and possible breach of the law, although this has already been dismissed):
