Pope Francis Rejects Both Labels & Limitations of Church Past

There has been much discussion lately about the Pope. I have heard him described as the "cool pope." Indeed, everybody seems to really like him. As if to reinforce this, he has come out with a rock album, and I even heard from a musician that the first track is actually quite good.

Yet, despite being the head of a church that traditionally was opposed to homosexuality, many are expressing anger at him, even a sense of betrayal, at his having met with Kim Davis, the county clerk who has famously refused to issue marriage licenses to homosexual couples.

Personally, this pope fascinates me, and his shift in direction for the church has been a breath of fresh air.

So, in lieu of elaborating too much on the topics at this moment due to time, I figured it would be good to share some links about the pope and his various stances that have garnered so much attention around the world.
