Living near Somerville, New Jersey, one of the things that car fans learn is that particularly interesting cars, show cars, from all around the area come flocking to this town on Friday nights every week, making it an open air car show of sorts.
So we go every now and then, and I have even taken my son on occasion, as well. It is interesting, and there are times when you see something that really is intriguing.
That was the case earlier this summer, when a car that looked identical to that vehicle transporting the main characters back and forth in time was on display.
What better day to put those pictures that I took of it on display here, then on "Back to the Future Day?"
Well, here they are. The guy had all sorts of paraphernalia from the movies, including a cap worn by Marty McFly's son in their projection of 2015. When I asked the guy, he kind of shrugged, and said that it was basically necessary to pursue all of these kinds of things to complete the effect.
In any case, here are the pictures, and it seemed to me that there was no better day than this to share them:
