It sounds like it would be a bad joke, because, quite frankly, the hypocrisy and outrage that such headlines as these would produce would seem to be overwhelming, right?
Yet, it is the reality, and so far, the only thing that I have heard about it generally has been a posting or two on Facebook, chastising the police from Hawaii, because they are looking to be exempted from the law (yes, the same law that they themselves have are obliged to enforce on others) in an area that is particularly sensitive: sex with prostitutes.
They did not win their case fully, and now can only get away with getting blowjobs and handjobs from prostitutes, but not the whole shebang, if you will.
Again, it sounds like some sort of comedy thing, or a punchline on the fake newscast of Saturday Night Live.
