Here is a poll that suggests that in this divisive election, the one thing that most Americans seem to agree on is that these two candidates are particularly bad, and have lowered the bad considerably. That is true even for party insiders among the two major parties, with polls showing very high disapproval ratings and high numbers for various other negatives, as well. Hillary Clinton predictably scores low on trust issues, and she is the least popular Democrat in decades.
On the Republican side, Donald Trump is hardly doing any better, with Republicans all seeming to view him as the worst candidate in over forty years now.
And this is the best that a country of well over three hundred million people has to offer? Really?
