Anyone who grew up during the eighties in the greater New York/New Jersey metropolitan area will surely remember "Crazy Eddie" and those funny, incredibly fast-paced commercials and diatribes.
Funny, because nowadays, if someone would try and do what he did, I would probably dismiss is as somewhat obnoxious. Yet, when I see old clips of this guy doing what he was known best for, I remember it fondly, and found the commercials both entertaining and worth missing.
In any case, he died a couple of days ago.
RIP, "Crazy Eddie." You will be missed.
