Coffee Shop Opens for Very Grumpy, Foul-Mouthed People

Just a little bit of humor to hopefully lighten up your day a little bit.

This is an article more or less done in the style of 'The Onion,' and which put a smile on my face while reading it.

It does have strong language, so please do not day that you were not warned.

That said, this was quite funny, and it seemed like something worth sharing here.

Enjoy!

  1. Funny. I like the British slang: "a face like a slapped arse". And I liked the part where someone inquires about hot food: "The guy next to me was asking whether they did any cooked breakfasts but the manager told him to fuck off and get a life." Takes me back to my illustrious Dunkin' Donuts, um, "career" back in the nineties. By the way, I don't think any of your readers are residents of Mr. Rogers' neighborhood, so you probably don't need to apologize or provide disclaimers for f-bombs and such. But that's just my fucking opinion.

  2. Just thought it would be good form to warn people. It was a pretty funny article! Hey, totally off the subject and apropos of nothing, but what was that one song and/or artist that came on at the Rockport Mall while we were there a few weeks ago?

  3. I believe you're referring to "Time in a Bottle" by Jim Croce. Also apropos of nothing, Martin Fourcade, the guy we were wondering about when we saw the biathlon on the tube at that restaurant in Sloatsburg, had a great olympics. I don't know if he was in that particular race or not, but he came into these games having won 2 gold medals at previous olympics, and won an additional 3 this year. So that makes 5 golds and I believe a couple non-golds, which makes him the most decorated French olympian of all time.

  4. Awesome! PSG defeated their big rivals, Olympique Marseille, today, 3-0.

  5. That they did. They're cruising their way to yet another French championship. Their real test, though, comes on Tuesday, March 6th at 2:45pm our time. That's when they play the return leg of their Round of 16 tie against the one and only Real Madrid. PSG lost 3-1 in Madrid, allowing two goals in the last ten minutes or so, which is maddening. But hopefully they'll overcome that deficit at the Parc des Princes to win on aggregate. Allez Paris!
