Centre Pompidou

Another place in Paris which I had not seen since the 20th century was the Centre Pompidou. Of course, I always knew it better as Beaubourg.

Admittedly, I always had mixed feelings about it. It speaks to some people. In fact,  I know some people who really like it. 

Unfortunately, the look of it doesn't really appeal to me all that much. Especially in a city like Paris. 

However, the area around it has a certain appeal. And whether or not I like it, the building definitely draws the eye. 

So I went for a visit.
