Bush Was Forced to Cancel European Trip For Fears of Being Held Accountable for Human Rights Abuses

This was not really a surprise. Cheney encountered some similar problems, in particular with Belgium, if memory serves correctly.

In this day and age, when even a President of one country in Africa was held accountable for war crimes in another country, you never know which country is going to view a leaders actions very differently than others. And George W. Bush, with the question of torture methods and provoking wars, has been judged either harshly, or fairly, by European nations, judging on your viewpoint.
