Well, this is interesting!
Chuck Palahniuk is revealing details for the second installment of his best known work, which became a very memorable, iconic movie that seems to have attained something of a cult following.
The thing is, "Fight Club" seemed to me like a one shot deal. Not that I'm questioning Palahniuk. He is weird, true. But having read a good amount of his books (including Fight Club), he definitely offers a lot more than most people assume he does.
Still, I have to admit that "Fight Club" was one movie that I simply never imagined would have a sequel.
Just hope that it is not one of those sequels that not only does not live up to the first one, but actually begins to detract from it. Like Matrix.
But who knows? Maybe it will be like "Empire Strikes Back" to Star Wars!
We'll see. I'll admit to not having kept up with Palahniuk as much over the last three or four years, even though I enjoyed his works quite a bit up to that point! If anyone can make something as crazy as a sequel to that work, it would be him!
