Unrest Now Predictably Starting in Eastern Ukraine

Well, it was bound to happen.

In Easter Ukraine, there were scenes that were very reminiscent of those that took place in Crimea some weeks ago, and which ultimately led to Russian involvement, then a referendum with people voting overwhelmingly for joining Russia, and finally, being outright annexed to Russia.

Despite Russian assurances that their activities in eastern Ukraine would end with the acquisition of Crimea, the political unrest is spreading, which itself is triggering questions of how long it will take before Russian involvement will be felt in the region. Most Russians support Putin's actions thus far, and many want the acquisition by Russia of many parts of what is, right now at least, the eastern part of Ukraine.
