Jets Stun Colts, Start Season With Impressive 2-0 Record
Yes, the Jets did it! They beat the Colts in Indianapolis last night!
Who could have guessed that two elite teams last season, the Colts and the Seahawks, would stand at 0-2 at this point, while the Jets now sport a 2-0 mark?
New York's defense looked nasty last night, not allowing much of anything by the Colts. Of course, there was that inexplicable fumble right at the goal line by Frank Gore, which was recovered by Darrelle Revis of the Jets, and ended one of the best chances for Indianapolis all night.
It was strange, alright. But the Jets outplayed the Colts last night, and earned a huge road win. Beating the Browns at home is one thing. Beating the Colts in Indy is quite another! What a victory for the J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets Jets!

I tuned in right before half-time, and am obviously every bit as pleasantly surprised as you. I didn't think the Jets had a prayer in that game, and was merely hoping they'd at least be able to keep it reasonably close going into the fourth quarter. Although I'm beginning to think that the Colts weren't as good as I'd given them credit for - they looked inept and listless for large stretches of that game - it's still an impressive and encouraging win for the Jets. Frankly, if Gang Green manage to win 8 or 9 games this season, I'll be happy with that, as it would constitute a substantial improvement over last season. Anything more would be a bonus. Go Jets!
