Lebanon. Beloved home of one of my favorite authors, Khalil Gibran, who's words inspired, among others, John F. Kennedy and John Lennon. It's supposed to be a beautiful country, and Beirut a staggeringly beautiful city, between the sea and the snow-capped mountain peaks. Unfortunately, I cannot say that I have had the joy of a visit. Maybe someday...
