Ran into this quote by one of the most prominent of the Founding Fathers some years ago.
While it is true that Franklin, like many of the other Founding Fathers, had a troubling legacy, he nevertheless often expressed some words of real wisdom. The quote below clearly feels like it ranks up there. Truly inspiring words that seemed worth sharing here:
“Be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let every new year find you a better man.”
