Back From My Trip - Spring 2026

This might just be one of the most beautiful pictures that I ever took. The spectacular grandeur of the waterfalls created the rainbow which is visible on the bottom left. A snow covered mountain rests majestically in the background. Doesn't get much better than this.

Yes, I am back stateside.

Predictably, I am missing Europe already.

Yet, I am very grateful for what I managed to see during this recent trip. In Iceland, there were snow-capped mountains and geysers and waterfalls and even a continental shelf divide, as I literally walked in a canyon between the European and North American tectonic plates. In France, I enjoyed relaxing at a couple of sidewalk cafes and enjoying some sites in Paris, while exploring some other parts, most notably Dijon in Burgundy, with it's colorful roofs and historical churches and old homes along cobbled streets.

That kind of stuff is what people come to Europe to see and experience.

Yesterday was a very long day, with not one but two return flights. Woke up near Paris, at the IBIS Charles De Gaulle Airport Hotel, very early. Finished packing and then took the short trip to the airport. Made my flight with plenty of time to spare, then waited out about 10 hours in Iceland before the final return flight back to Newark.

Now, I am back and already at work, at my weekend job.

Damn.

Anyway, hope that this finds everyone well. Thought that some of the best pictures from the trip would be in order.

Enjoy.
