Today is the Summer Solstice For 2021

Today, June 20th, is the longest day of the year for 2021. This is the summer solstice, which means that from here on out, the days will grow shorter.

Of course, from here on out until September, it is now officially summer.

It sure felt like summer today, too. It was hot, stuffy, humid.

Still, this was Father's Day, and even though I did work, I got to get out earlier than expected, and spent the rest of the day with my son. We went to Skylands Botanical Garden, which is always a pleasant place to visit, no matter the season. After that, we got some ice cream at the Dairy Queen not too far away. We ate dinner at Tim Horton's later on in the evening.

A pleasant day overall. Happy Father's Day to any dads who may be out there, reading this.

And to everyone: Happy Summer Solstice!
