Corinthian College Grads Take a Stand Against Student Loans

There is a group of college graduates, known as the "Corinthian 100", who are taking a stand against student loans for educations that, they feel, did not prepare them adequately for the job market that they were supposed to be preparing for.

Now, I know that these were specific sets of circumstances at one particular institution with certain grads. But I wonder if this is the beginning of a more widespread movement against outrageous student loans bills, which has become more and more of a pronounced issue in recent years.

It is outrageous and, frankly, criminal, to think that wealthy loaning institutions are trying to profit greatly off the hard work and sweat of young people trying to prepare themselves for a life of responsibility in their field, with clean records and honest jobs. Sooner or later, there will be some serious backlash against the student loan industry. It really seems like just a matter of time, and I suspect that we will be seeing more such stories as this in the near future.
