One bit of sorry news that we received this weekend was the Senate voting in the affirmative for the Fast Track Trade Deal, which it is suspected will closely resemble NAFTA, a deal that was similarly highly billed as positive, but which actually cost a million American jobs, and has been detrimental to the quality of life in the country.
But most Republicans were for it, and President Obama was for it, and so it passed.
In the link below, Matt Drudge shows his anger after the deal passed, and says it will cost Republicans dearly in next year's election.
Frankly, I am not so sure. But we shall see.
