Movies That Actors Have Never Recovered From

I came across a link about movies that actors have never really recovered from, and thought it might be worth sharing here.

Some of these I can totally see!

I mean, "Water World" really is a bad movie, and it's hard to see what Kevin Costner was thinking. The idea behind it was not bad. It even sounds intriguing, something that I personally would want to see. But somehow, the execution of the movie left something to be desired. It just seems somehow, well....silly. Absurd. Ridiculous, even.

Also, there were some questions about the plausibility of it. I mean, there are plenty of mountains over 20,000 feet tall in the world, right? Yet, there was hardly any land anywhere, to the point that everyone thought that real land was merely a myth? That just seemed absurd. Furthermore, how were they breathing oxygen, if there was no land for trees? Carrying a few trees with soil would be enough to sustain several people? How? How was their a ship full of people, when there was, again, hardly any food, let alone drinking water, to go around?

As for Halle Barry and Catwoman, I can see that. It really was just a bad movie, comic book stuff simply overdone. There was hardly a sense that this could be anywhere near a real character, and it just felt somehow silly.

Of course, there are other examples of movies that proved, one way or another, to be really detrimental to the careers of previously known actors and actresses. Some have at least begun to recover, while others remain more or less obscure and in the shadows still.
