Colorado High School Students Protest Sanitized History

Now, this was really cool!

Imagine a bunch of high school students that actually feel strongly enough about a change in their history curriculum, about how it is being overly sanitized and "cleansed", if you will, that they protest it! And imagine that protest begins to gain national attention!

That is actually what happened in a Colorado high school, where students walked out of school and congregated in order to protest this more traditional version of history.

We never had anything like this when I was attending high school in suburban New Jersey! I wish that we had, however! But not too many of the students there seemed to pay much attention to history, let alone care enough about it, to become active like that.

So, kudos to those high school students in Colorado that were brave enough to stand up and garner national attention on an issue that they feel strongly enough about to take a chance!
