The Rochester 'Invisibility Cloak' Makes Things Appear Invisible!

Okay, so, this is really cool!

We have all heard the stories about invisibility, from stories that were read to us, like the "Emperor's New Clothes", to stories of wizards and magicians somehow able to do the impossible, and make themselves, or perhaps others, invisible (at least temporarily).

But in reality, common sense suggests that this is simply impossible. To find a way to make human beings, or large objects, invisible is an exercise in futility, right?

Well, that may have been the case, but not anymore!

Scientists in Rochester, New York, have scored what can only be described as a major breakthrough! And the best part is that the technology to make large things invisible not only is there now, but it is actually relatively cheap to do, to boot!

This has been described as an "invisibility cloak". But in reality, it is far from being a cloak. In fact, it uses mirrors and rays, more than anything else.

Still, the purpose of this is kind of to serve as a "cloak", of sorts. Hence, the world's first "invisibility cloak".

Very cool!

Take a look for yourself!
