Some Pictures of Autumn Foliage

Here are some pictures of the colors of the fall just as they are approaching their peak here in northern New Jersey on a rainy Friday in mid-October:

  1. Beautiful pictures. At first I was thinking that was Silas Condict County Park, but I don't recognize that little stone house with the red door. I'm guessing that's not a park with which I'm familiar, actually. But I'm intrigued, since you said it's in northern New Jersey, which rules out the HIllsborough area since that's in the central part.

    1. It's actually Kinnelon, in two or three different locations. The little stone house or shed is next to Pyramid Mountain, a park that Sebast and I go hiking fairly frequently. We can go there when you come for a visit, if you like. Some of the trails are rugged, and some are mostly tame and largely flat, but offer excellent views of the lake in the picture.
