Besides the tennis event venue, Wimbledon the village was supposed to be quite charming.
So I headed there to explore a bit on the way to the famous tennis center.
Sure enough, it really was quite charming.
And I'm not even sure that I saw the most attractive or famous parts of it.
Still, the bit of the village which I did see indeed seemed to be rather pleasant and attractive. These are the kinds of quaint English villages that remind you that this is indeed Europe, lest you forget. Clearly something special.
In any case, it seemed worth sharing some of the pictures which I took during my visit.
