Well, former STP and Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland is in trouble again, and unfortunately again, it has to do with drugs.
He was initially stopped at a Beverly Hills Rite Aid for stealing razors, but managed to leave the facility, only to be taken by cops a block or so away. And when the police searched him, they found on his person something that turns out to have been a far more serious charge - methamphetomines.
Weiland is denying it on his website, but apparently, the police themselves have reiterated - strongly - that the rocker is indeed still behind bars. Apparently, he's been there for four weeks now, on $95,000 bail.
Here is the statement by both LA Country and Beverly Hills PD:
L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. who tells us, "He is definitely in custody. We did a physical check on that inmate and he is currently in custody."
Beverly Hills Police Dept. gave us a written statement titled, "Celebrity Arrest," and in the statement it says, "The suspect, former Stone Temple Pilots band member Scott Weiland (46 years of age), was taken into custody for burglary and possession of a controlled substance."
