This certainly is not good or encouraging news. In fact, it's yet another sign, as if we needed any more, that the technology that we have grown to rely upon so much can and has been used against us, against our own interests.
Already, our privacy in this age of the internet has been more than slightly compromised.
But we will have to deal with even more of this in the future, as bosses might just have the power and say in your personal life outside of work!
How? Wouldn't this be a violation of your right to privacy?
Probably. Yet, these intrusions are getting more common, not less so. And there really is no reason to expect this trend to reverse itself magically.
It may be scary, but it is also better to stay informed.
