Soundgarden’s Kim Thayil Discusses Bands Early Days & His Feelings on Playing Band’s Material at a Cornell Tribute Show

Meant to share this earlier, but never quite got around to it. Some memories of Chris Cornell and Soundgarden by guitarist Kim Thayil from an article dating a couple of months back.

Of course, it is nice to rehash a little bit about one of the best, and frankly, underrated bands of their time. They received some recognition, but they are still better than most realize, frankly.

In any case, here is a link to an article where Thayil revisits some old memories of the early days of Soundgarden, as well as his views on playing some of the band's songs during a Chris Cornell benefit concert.
