Under the current Liberal Party government of Trudeau, Canada has been developing an immigration policy to attract French-speaking people into the country, in an effort to protect the country's national identity. that includes those in the teaching profession, specifically.

This, of course, is something that Québec province has engaged in now for some time. Now, it is being practiced on the national level.
