Recently, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that there will be a high-speed rail project which would connect Québec City with Toronto, with numerous stops in between.
This was exciting news. It still feels that Canada is going in a direction which, frankly, I wish the United States was going in. This is a major advance, with Canada following the example of other countries with high-speed rail services, particularly in western Europe, Japan, and China.
